South Tyneside SENDIASS Training Sessions

South Tyneside SENDIASS Service

South Tyneside SENDIASS is the statutory provision in South Tyneside providing free, confidential and impartial information, advice and support in relation to special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The service support parents/carers, children and young people (from birth up to 25) and professionals. You do not need a diagnosis to access support from the service.

With dedicated officers working across the borough they aim to help parents/carers, children and young people make informed decisions about their education. The service plays a key role in making sure that your views are heard and understood and that these views are fed back to influence local policy and practice. South Tyneside Council has a legal duty to provide this service to you and all SENDIASS services are confidential and impartial.
