Bringing Young People Together

Washington Mind’s Underground Neighbourhood are running a series of groups for 15 to 17 year olds at both Washington and Sunderland during July and August, whether you want to come and get creative or just sit and chill with a cuppa.

If you’d like to register your interest, click here. Spaces are limited due to COVID -19 so unfortunately you won’t be able to turn up on the day

You can sign up for either the Sunderland Group or the Washington group which are taking place at:

Washington:  1-3pm on Monday’s at The Life House , Grasmere Terrace, Washington, NE38 7LP

What is Underground Neighbourhood?

Underground Neighbourhood are a group aimed at, created by and led by young people aged 11- 18. They strive to offer a relaxed safe place for self- expression; through various creative outlets. This could be music, arts and media. The group is ran by Washington Mind Young People’s Project, a service which offer 1-1 counselling and groupwork for 11-25 year olds who live within the City of Sunderland, as well as training and volunteering opportunities.
